Son of Fire — Larry L. King

Follow the migration of two families and their journey west. A Cherokee family goes west from North Carolina due to the Trail of Tears. An Irish family treks west just for new lands to farm. The story begins in the early 1800's and the two families both settle in Red River County, Texas in the late 1800's. The two families combine in marriage with a couple from each and progress to beyond 1960. You will live the Civil war and reconstruction.
