Three Arizona farm boys turn detectives in order to help a young girl trace her missing father, a retired seaman who may have been kidnapped by pirates looking for buried treasure.

To Daniel's friend Wahoo the "assignment" seems easy: Elias Gleason is missing, and some relative named Susan wants him found.

So Chet Hollister and Daniel Tremain decide to join Wahoo in the search - and end up on a deserted island, face to face with a band of pirates!
