THIS TIME, SLOCUM'S ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE LAW.
John Slocum was just trying to pan enough gold from his claim to buy a hot meal and a bottle of whiskey. But before long, a gang of masked bandits started robbing prospectors and mining towns everywhere from Palouse Flats to Virginia City. And every time the law thought they had the thieves cornered, they disappeared -- leaving behind only horses and some useless footprints. Slocum didn't want to get involved -- until some desperate lawmen recruited him to help track the bandits down!
If he knew what was good for him, he'd run -- fast -- right out of town. But as usual, Slocum's eye for trouble leads him right into some trouble of his own.
