On the run from bounty hunters, Slocum decides to lay low at the mountain ranch of widow Della Hughes. But even as the couple rekindles their relationship, some danger arises. Apaches are on the warpath, stealing horses and murdering every lone rancher they can find. And if they aren't dangerous enough, a group of outlaws is planning on selling them Winchester rifles and ammunition.
