Sleepers 7 — Jacqueline Druga

The saga continues as the residents of Haven search for a new home and prepare for the evolution of the Sleeper race.

On a spring day, 1.8 billion children disappear from the face of the earth and natural disasters rock the globe. Of those who remain, 90 percent are ravaged with a plague that turns them into mindless, murderous beings.

While the residents of Haven emerge victorious, their home is ravaged by war and they begin the search for a new place to set up camp. They are hopeful that the Sleeper virus will come to an end before they evolve when Dr. Noah invents an immunization that makes them invisible to the infected. But how long will it last? Will those in Haven be able to complete the Beckoning before the evolution begins and they lose control?
