What he got was a crooked poker game with five of the town's leading citizens; a twelve-foot monster with one eye; three half-breed kids; a rundown ranch with surly wranglers; and a spinster woman who keeps five thousand beeves for pets and likes to take potshots at men with her Kentucky Long Rifle.
To top it all off, he learns he's accused of a murder he didn't commit and a necktie party is on the hunt for him.
