Martha Lopez's dream of going to UCLA will die if she can't find an extracurricular activity for her college resume. When her baby sister suggests Martha be part of the spring musical, Martha reluctantly agrees -- as long as she can work far behind-the-scenes. But her plans don't quite work out the way she expected. With Eli Shepherd telling her God has a plan and her leaders at church telling her Eli is a troublemaker, Martha finds that drama is everywhere, and she doesn't know where to turn.
