Sherlock Holmes and the Abbey School Mystery — John Hall

A young schoolmaster at the Abbey School apparently commits suicide and his sister, suspecting foul play, calls in Sherlock Holmes. When Holmes visits the school, he is met by a wall of silence. He calls on his old friend Dr Watson, now in general practice, and asks him to play the part of a schoolmaster. Watson agrees, thinking the task an easy one, but little did he know how the affair would develop, and it is not long before his life is in danger.
