Shelter Dog Blues — Susan Meddaugh

Bubbles or not, Martha realizes that having to take a bath isn't so bad when compared to losing her collar and ending up at the local animal shelter! After a failed escape attempt and a heartfelt reunion with her family, Martha declares that she won't leave the shelter until the rest of the dogs do too. With assistance from both her human and her canine pals, Martha cooks up an ambitious plan to help Wagstaff City's forgotten pooches.
