After losing her four-year-old daughter to the court system, Sheila decided her reason for living was gone. Her life was a downward spiral of heroin addiction, prostitution, dangerous crimes, and degradation. Sheila needed to change her life-style in order to regain custody of her child, but even a sympathetic police officer admitted defeat. Despondent, Sheila plotted to end her life.
