Lori Barnes's composure wavered under Keith McKinnon's intent stare. Surely he didn't still believe that she had once stolen a Castleton heirloom? Then Lori caught Keith's gaze. The Castleton's lawyer was convinced of her guilt.

Keith McKinnon couldn't believe Lori's nerve. True, he had summoned her to Stonehurst, but he thought she should at least seem abashed at returning to the scene of the crime. She shouldn't look so calm, so in control -- so lovely.
