Season of Mists — Mary Mackie

A chance meeting with childhood friend Michael Collingham brings Rowan back to Scarsbeck, but many things have changed. Rowan suspects that her feelings for Michael may be just the echo of her old crush. He himself may be reaching out to her because of grief and loneliness, for his wife died in mysterious circumstances and suspicion haunts the dale.
