Sol, a thinker-linker crow, learns the Sky Council's decision about the humans who are making the planet unlivable for so many species of birds: instead of adapting or flying away, the Great Flock will fight. But what does this mean? And how can birds, who are so much smaller than humans, do anything to fight the humans and their powerful machines? In their search for answers, Sol, his sister Ava and his dead brother Peeps approach many different birds until they discover a way that just might work to reduce the large number of humans on the planet.
