Michael Tate is an acclaimed Doctor that doesn't necessarily like to follow his English noble family traditions. However, being a bachelor in his mid-thirties doesn't help him much and he forcedly accepts to host a new guest that his family arranged for him.

Rose Lithgall is an unordinary Lady who would rather live a humble life than to enjoy the luxuries of a socialite. She wants to go places, see things, and most of all, help people.
