Sand Flats — Michael Williams

In 2014, nation was against nation, and the world was on the brink of nuclear war. There were those that had prepared for the unthinkable, and there were those that just lived their lives oblivious to what was happening in the world around them. When all of the world powers tried flexing their muscle and no nation was willing to back down the unthinkable became mankind's reality.
Those that had prepared took to the underground and locked themselves away from the destruction that was about to happen all over the world. The bombs flew, and nation after nation fell into chaos and within hours every nation across the globe turned to ashes.
Those who had locked themselves away, emerged a year after the last bomb exploded, and they saw what the world had become. The world as they had known it was now gone, and they had to learn how to live in this new reality.
Roger, Cody, Tina, Dianne, and Ashley were a few of those who fled to the underground and they survived the great war. Now, a year later they must learn how to survive in the new world. Join them as they discover that not everyone who survived is the way that they thought they would be. Follow them as they make their way through the new world in their attempt to find Sand Flats, the place where they think that they can make a new life and try to make a fresh start.
