Now that her mother had passed away, the last thing Barrie Foster wanted was to go back to Delta, the small river town where she had grown up. But she felt she owed a debt to old Dr. Hamilton for helping put her through nursing school. Once that debt was paid, she would think about taking a job like the one she'd been offered in Atlanta.
