Carina is furious when the new partner, Gregory Veryan, blatantly takes over her job at 'Home Interiors'. However, while on a Cornish holiday with Emma, her young daughter, Carina is surprised to meet Greg, and discovers what a caring man he can be. When Emma is kidnapped, Greg helps Carina search for her, but after her bitter criticism he decides to return to the West Country.
