Requiem for an Appaloosa — Jim Christina

Requiem for an Appaloosa tells the story of a raid and redemption in 1881 Arizona. October 26th a raid is made on the Bar-A ranch of Taggert Richmond, the Hunter. The raiders kill the ranch caretakers, take their daughter, Maggie and the Hunter's horse, Horse. The story revolves around the hunt and eventual retribution visited on the perpetrators both in Arizona and Mexico as the raid turns into a hunt for justice.
