A LESSON IN MURDER
Spunky, free-spirited Cealie Gunther may be a woman of a certain age, but her zeal for adventure keeps her in the thick of things...like trouble. Now, her brilliant granddaughter Kat is refusing to go to school, and graduation is only days away. A janitor is dead, fallen--or pushed--from a balcony. Kat's Spanish teacher is a suspect. Determined to get to the truth, Cealie gets a job as a substitute teacher.
Adding to the growing tension, Cealie learns the previous substitute was shot to death. Just how dangerous is this school? Fearing for her granddaughter, Cealie snoops for all she's worth, exposing violence, lurking menace and more disturbing questions than answers. The only thing certain is that a killer has decided Cealie needs to be expelled...permanently.
