Quinn McGee: Rewrites History — Laura Adams

Ten-year-old Quinn McGee would like nothing more than to quietly observe life from the sidelines. But after her grandma disappears and her dad loses his job, her family decides to move back to Idaho and into her grandma's old house. On Quinn's first day at her new school, she is thrust into the middle of a mystery. The old librarian's gone, the new librarian takes a peculiar interest in Quinn's well-being, and most mysterious of all, Quinn discovers a book that has the past, present, and future written in it -- and she is the only person who is able to read it. Soon Quinn discovers that she may vanish, according to the book. Uncertain of how to save herself, Quinn is forced off the sidelines and into the center of the action. She and her unlikely new friends, a wild and impulsive tomboy, and the school brainiac, use the book's power to stand up to bullies and save their school, all the while trying to uncover clues to save Quinn.
