Puppies on Parade — Debby Mayne

Each year, one of the city council members takes a turn coordinating the Mooreville Annual Founder's Day Parade. It's a small-town event featuring the high school band, floats with all the town dignitaries and pageant winners, organizations' floats, and a puppy parade. Although one of her ancestors founded the town, Emily has never participated in the parade. A local businessman encourages her to join in the fun after she adopts Hank, a Great Dane puppy. But first, Hank needs some training. Brice Johnson likes animals, but he doesn't have time for a pet since he's so busy with his hardware store and the city council. However, his heart melts when Hank takes a liking to him and follows him everywhere. It doesn't hurt that Hank's owner is one of the sweetest women he's ever known but someone he hasn't gotten to know until Hank came along. Is it possible that Hank might have a puppy plan to get these two people together?
