The new cheerleaders, friends at last, are performing some amazing routines. Squad captain Olivia Evans is happy all the practicing has paid off, and even happier after meeting David Duffy, a young sports reporter who likes her.

But when David writes an article unfairly criticizing the squad, the cheerleaders are shattered. Sean and Tara don't want Olivia to go on seeing David. And all the cheerleaders agree they've worked too hard to have their great reputation ruined. They'll just have to prove they deserve it.
