Two dozen underprivileged children had been looking forward to a summer of fun at the Springer Lodge, a camp tucked between the glorious Rocky Mountains. But this year, since her father was out of commission, Katie Springer had to run the camp herself.
Day one brought a twisted ankle. Another camper came down with a fever. Fortunately, Dr. Russ Bingham made house calls. And though Katie was intrigued by his compassion for the kids, she couldn't decipher the feelings masked behind his steely gray eyes. If only they could spend more time together...
