Anthropology professor and former model Luke Littlefield is spending his summer teaching an introductory course at Cranmore College and consulting on an archeological dig on New England's Cape Cod. The discovery of a centuries old murder in Provincetown is overshadowed by a series of murders in West Hollywood by an alleged religious terrorist group called The Followers. When a routine FBI investigation unintentionally involves Luke, he must untangle a web of clues that seem to point to the involvement of one of his graduate students.
