Planet Busters — Tom Cole

What does one do when a fascist, galaxy-spanning government lays your planet to waste? You retaliate. That's what Jenkins Basil Lai does after Marion, his beloved leisure world is bombed by space fighters and seized by the Feds. Jenkins teams up with a motley gang of unwitting ruffians. Their mission? To bust the planet Tuukar and conscript its legions of battle-hardened warriors to their cause. The task is not an easy one, for it requires them to domesticate the fiercest genius-warrior since Genghis Khan -- Zallaham, the Warlord of Huria. And even then, who would have suspected that galactic civilization itself would be threatened by a mad religious fanatic who somehow has ties to mysterious aliens whose super-intelligence is evidenced by spacecraft that defy the laws of physics?
