Lieutenant Havencourt never truly embraced the pirate life. It wasn't one he'd chose, but taking a stance sometimes incurs consequences, and his resulted in the exile from the life he knew and loved. Sometimes, however, the services of an outlaw is required, particularly when the vice-admiral's daughter, Lady Sarah Lancaster, is captured and stolen away by Spanish pirates. For the navy to pursue her would be a declaration of war, hence the services of a pirate is needed.
Sarah, however, knows better than to trust a pirate offering to take her away. In her time in Isla Rosa, she'd learned pirates say just about anything to get their way, even the very handsome ones.
