Sometimes, as in "Retribution River," conflict has to do with the disenfranchised struggling desperately to regain their land. Sometimes, as in "Cutbank Welcome," it is a matter of having to learn the identity of a murderer. Then, as in "Matched Pair," it can be a question of whether or not the past can ever be rectified. In "Phantom Raiders" even the honest sometimes must resort to robbery at gunpoint.
