Nurse Janet Blair, en route to a Greek holiday island, helps an old lady on the plane who has been taken ill.

Mrs. Horsefall, a rich widow, on her way to join friends cruising in the Mediterranean, is told by the doctor that she can only go aboard the yacht if she takes a nurse along with her.

So Janet unexpectedly finds herself a part a world of luxury and glamor, surrounded by men and women whose lives are spent in a constant round of pleasures.

Then a jewel thief is discovered on board and Janet is caught up in a terrifying sequence of events that might have ended tragically…
