Leah Taylor must have been dreaming when she decided to move to a small town like Shady Oaks after her divorce. The locals didn't seem exactly thrilled to meet a single mother of two young boys. And her demented beagle isn't helping matters. The dog has taken to fetching the morning newspaper -- from the house next door.

Too bad her neighbor just happens to be Dr. Shane O'Grady, the only pediatrician for miles around. With her rambunctious sons, Leah knows she won't be able to avoid him forever. Soon enough, her six-year-old genius tries to defy gravity and fly... and Dr. Shane has to patch him up.

Leah's mortified but it's all in a day's work for the handsome doctor. Shane is delighted with the opportunity to finally get to know the lovely Ms. Taylor. Now if he can only convince her that they can become much more than friendly neighbors...
