Noted Caltech physicist, Dr. Carl Warner, has just completed a year-long research sabbatical with an earth-shaking breakthrough. Funded by a billionaire industrialist, Warner is unaware that his ruthless sponsor has no intention of delivering on his promise to share the bounty of the Dr.'s research. On his final solo-flight home from the industrialist's Lake Tahoe lab, Warner is attacked in mid-air. While attempting to escape he crashes inside the Outerzone compound. Dr. Warner's discovery now lies beyond the reach of everyone, except Outerzone's occupants.
No man has ever escaped from Outerzone. But now, one must.
