Out of the Past — Jean Curtis

When Robyn went to Corrivale beach to recuperate after a horrifying accident, the last person she expected to meet was Scott Richmond, with whom she'd had a disastrous love affair six years earlier. He helps her to obtain a job with the famous writer, Brita Lambert, but doesn't reveal his own relationship with the author. To her dismay, Robyn finds herself drawn to Scott again, and this, she decides, is the last thing she needs.
