Ossie the Brave Fish Hawk — Janet Hasselbring

At Pelican Cove, it's summer and the fish are jumping. Ossie, the osprey goes fishing but every time he catches a fish, Baldy, the bald eagle, steals it. How is Ossie going to be able to feed his family with Baldy, the pirate, on the loose? Must he really leave his beloved cove to build a new nest elsewhere? Come along on a journey to Pelican Cove and learn how Ossie helps Baldy fight off another pirate and ends up gaining a new friend and saving his nest at the cove.
