The road accident happened near her aunt's home in the country, so it was only natural for Heather to stay at Greengates for convalescence and out-patient treatment. But she was astonished to find herself the object of a stranger's violent antipathy, an antipathy that impinged more and more her personal life.
There was also a cousin - very sweet until Heather took a part-time job in the same office and interested one of the partners. A series of anonymous letters, a team of folk dancers and a garden-fete fortune teller all left Heather completely bewildered until the one fact that her accident had driven from her memory slipped back into focus to resolve the mystery.
