I am going to do great today, Vanna silently told herself, as the elevator transported her to the main lobby. I've got this in the bag. Today was a big day in sixteen year old Vanna Vreeland's life. In thirty minutes, she would be auditioning for an upcoming musical called, "The Journey of Alicia Winter." In fact, Vanna would be trying out for the role of Alicia Winter. Last week, Vanna's Drama teacher, Mrs. Kingwood, had told Vanna about her director best friend, Katrina Harper. She had also gone on to say that she and Katrina had been on a couple of conference calls. While one had just been with Mrs. Kingwood and Katrina, the other one had been with the two of them, as well as Vanna's parents. They had all been in agreement that it would be a great opportunity for Vanna and her family to come to LA during spring break so Vanna could try out for the role of Alicia Cooper. However, they had also agreed that, in the end, it would be Vanna's choice to decide if she wanted to do this, and that, no matter what, everyone would be happy and proud of her. Much to everyone's excitement, including Vanna's, Vanna had decided to take a chance and try out. One week later, Vanna and her family were in LA and located at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. As luck would have it, this hotel was also the place that the audition was going to be held. As the elevator doors opened, Vanna stepped out onto the lobby and took a deep breath to relax herself. After all, she had the audition of a lifetime to attend.
