You get to meet them on their terms and cause all kinds of mayhem. Of course, they want all that brain stuff back, and they will go to all lengths to get it. They may be technologically more advanced than us, but when you know what they know, it levels the playing field. When you get your buddies to go along with the adventure, it livens the fun, and who knows what could happen? Imagine being able to change a bus into a space vehicle that's more than up to the task to chase after these beings and give them a whipping they'll never forget.
