Elliot Ames hates Christmas, and has since his wife died. If it weren't for his daughter Sasha, he wouldn't bother to celebrate at alll. After losing his job at the start of the holiday season, he returns to his hometown of Mayfly, New Mexico to try and decide what he should do next. Unbeknownst to her father, Sasha makes a Christmas wish that her father would find a way to enjoy Christmas again, which finds itself in the hands of a Christmas-loving angel named Cassie who is more than happy to take on the challenge. However, with the big day approaching and Elliott not budging, it seems that Cassie may need to enlist some earthly assistance to make Sasha's Christmas wish come true.
