Ginger Johnston loves her parents' beautiful new home in Vienna, Virginia and is looking forward to the first day of her senior year in high school at the exclusive Paxton Hill. But Paxton Hill is quite a change from her big, bustling high school back in Cheltham, Pennsylvania. Ginger is mystified when the students at her new high school snub her. When loneliness settles in, Ginger experiences a real personal crisis. Ultimately, Ginger learns how to succeed through difficulty times and is glad she stuck it out, on her own.
