Nurse Megann Weyburn had been warned about taking a job at a small clinic in the Canadian Rockies. She had been told about the difficult working conditions, the cold winters, and the terrible blizzards. But Megann was able to surmount all of those things, as she'd known she would be. -- There was only one thing in the Canadian Rockies that Megann could not cope with: Her boss, Dr. Eric Selkirk. Not only was he demanding, moody and secretive, but he positively disliked women, especially his new nurse.
