John Burke, an agent for The Cadre, Homeland's spy agency, is on the verge of officially becoming one of their top operatives. His assignment: Track suspected Islamic terrorists in Portugal making a purchase for an arms dealer. While he traces the purchase, the agency he works for and his mentor are going through changes that will have dramatic effects on everyone involved.
