New Caledonian Nurse — Lilian Darcy

To recover from the tensions and problems of her stressful job in Sydney, Nurse Sarah Pendlebury goes to the idyllic Ile Thérèse clinic on the Pacific island of New Caledonia. There, to her delight, she is selected as Receptionist Nurse. But two clouds remain on the horizon - the hostility of the elegant Fiona Drake and, more important, the disturbing presence of the attractive director of the clinic, Dr Robert Mansfield - both of which threaten her new-found peace of mind.
