Trapeze artist Cara Varelli was outraged when she learned her uncle's circus was in jeopardy. The new Lord of Broadwater Park, a famous English wildlife conservationist, was implacably opposed to the circus and planned to forbid them use of his land.

Cara tried to convince the startlingly handsome Tyler Moncrieffe that the Micham Brook circus didn't have wild animals. But he was unreasonable and arrogant, and the usually confident Cara was strangely unnerved by his presence and got nowhere with him.

His tawny eyes and hair somehow reminded her of a tiger, yet she was mesmerizingly drawn to him ... even though she'd been taught never to touch a tiger.
