Nancy Neville was in her last year of nurse's training when her father had a serious accident, and she had to go back home to tend to him during his convalescence. Her home town was without a hospital or physician, and Nancy soon found herself called on to handle all sorts of medical emergencies, including injuries suffered in forest fires.
