Best friends Natalie and Sarah couldn't be more different, but they have one thing in common: their love for each other. After both women graduate from Penn Law School, Natalie leaves her hometown to work in a corporate law firm in New York, while Sarah stays in Philadelphia to work in the non-profit law firm their mothers founded. When Natalie's mother dies, Natalie returns to Philly to take her mother's place at the firm. Natalie and Sarah's friendship seems unbreakable-until Sarah starts dating a black politician who seemingly has nothing in common with her.
