Heather is happy to bake her Mulled Cider Donuts and figure out who is leaving love poems at the bookshop next door.

However, when a cupcake maker is murdered, she feels she must offer up her expertise in both baking and sleuthing. Even though the new police chief might not be a fan of her help, she is determined to figure out why the baker was stabbed in the kitchen.

Heather looks for motives and for clues in the recipe book. With as many suspects are there are ingredients, she has her work cut out for her.
