After a painful divorce, Laura Barron devotes her time to her teenage daughter and her job at the bank where she recently received a promotion. She tries to concentrate on adjusting to her new life, though her ex-husband, Dave's frequent appearances keep her confused about her future. A blind date brings new excitement into her otherwise dull routine, and the handsome young widower becomes her close friend. She wouldn't mind if it became more, but can it ever develop into something more meaningful while he still holds his deceased wife on a pedestal? Would his guilt prevent their relationship from reaching the next level? Or will Dave return to win back her heart?
