Mostly Monty — Johanna Hurwitz

Meet Montgomery Gerald Morris. He is a first-grader who has a nickname (Monty) and a birthday (August 15 -- this year he turned six).

Monty also has asthma. which can sometimes make it hard for him to breathe, so he can't always run around outside with other kids and he can't have a pet like a dog or cat. Sometimes he wishes he didn't have asthma, but mostly Monty figures out how to do things his own way, like finding a pet, discovering a hobby, and even making new friends.
