Still living with the Brown family in London and still filling their lives with near disasters that somehow manage to end up in triumph, Paddington again captures the hearts of everyone. He sets out to redecorate his room and imprisons himself amongst a chaos of wallpaper and paint; he turns detective only to succeed in bagging a London policeman; and while Christmas shopping, ends up in a display window throwing the entire department store into confusion.
In spite of Paddington's disastrous good intentions, Mrs. Brown happily says, "The place wouldn't be the same without him."
