Monster Mucky Pup — Ken Brown

Mucky Pup can never sit still, and he is never happier than when he's chasing something or sniffing something out. That's how the trouble started. He had to check out the tin of green paint, which spilled all over him. And then he went to the barn and frightened a chicken who flew up so quickly that she dislodged the straw. Now Mucky Pup was green, with clumps of straw sticking to his head, so it's hardly surprising that the donkey mistook him for a monster, and kicked his bucket at him. Luckily his mate the piglet met him, and they plunged into the stream together, which washed everything off.
