When Verona Dean reads of the sudden death of Sister Hyacinth, she travels to Yorkshire to pay tribute to her friend's memory. At Minstrel's Leap she hears of the legend of Lady Eadgyth and her troubadour lover, and meets the nuns of St. Dorothy's.
