Mind Prints and More Carol — Lee Kelly

Due to the favorable response that my first book, mind prints, received, I wrote mind prints and more. As the title suggests, this edition includes "more". It has three sections. The first part consists of universal thoughts expressed in summary. I call these short messages "mind prints". (example: The size of life can make you laugh or cry.) Next are haiku divided into 3 three types. Traditional haiku focuses on scenes from nature. Urban haiku are "word snapshots" of city environment. House haiku give life (and sometimes personalities) to inanimate household objects such as doorknobs and curtains. All follow the three line haiku format of 5, 7 ,5 syllables. The last section is a collection of 45 poems that were written in a 45 year time span. Although some are published in anthologies, I wanted all to be shared. Hopefully they will fill your eyes and your heart.
